Options trading in US Market

Asked by: 1185 views

I am interested to try option trading in US Markets.

But I am not familiar. Is there any where online, I can learn?

I heard from my friends that Option trading is better than buying stocks in US markets. Is that true?

    Adeline,

You have several options…lol no pun intended, but seriously a good place to start is Options Industry Council (http://www.optionseducation.org/). This will teach you all about Calls, Puts, Covered Calls and gradually moves to more complicated options strategies like Diagonal Spreads, Condors and Butterflies.

Another great place to look is at some of professional broker sites like Interactive Brokers (http://www.interactivebrokers.com/ibg/main.php). They have an education page with tutorials and even run weekly seminars with live hosts that you can ask questions and find out more information.

    Hope this helps!

I would also recommend the Chicago Board Options Exchange website or even Yahoo! Finance has an Options Center with some good info for new traders.

Options can be a great way to generate huge profits in just a little time.  Unfortunately if you don’t know what you are doing, you can lose your investment just as fast.

    Best of Luck!
